All Summer in a Day

In Ray Bradbury's "All Summer in a Day," all people live in an underground community on Venus. There, it rains everday and every seven years, the sun shines for two hours. Although we cannot actually live in underground tunnels under Venus's surface, we are continually getting closer to our goals of exploring space. The Pluto-Kuiper Express is proposed to fly by Pluto, Charon, and head to the Kuiper Belt at the edge of the Solar System. It will be the first mission to Pluto and is expected to arrive in 2012.
In the future, i can also see people living on different planets. Although we must discover newer technology for this goal to ever happened, I'm sure that we will someday end up on another celestial body.
